How do we know that false preachers will be exposed?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that God will manifest the folly of false teachers to protect His elect (2 Timothy 3:9).

In 2 Timothy 3:8-9, we read about Janus and Jambres, the magicians who opposed Moses. The passage states, 'Now as Janus and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these reprobate men resist the truth. They shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all.' This verse emphasizes that God not only allows false teachings to exist for a time but also ensures that He will ultimately expose these falsehoods. This is a means of safeguarding His elect from deception. God's providential oversight extends to the church, ensuring that His sheep are led to the truth and kept from being misled by false shepherds.
