How do we know that God accepts us in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are accepted in Christ through His sacrifice and the evidence of our faith.

The grounds for our acceptance with God hinge upon the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:6 states, 'He has made us accepted in the Beloved.' This acceptance is not based on our merit or works but on Christ’s righteousness being imputed to us. As believers, we find assurance of our acceptance through faith in His atoning work and the transformational evidence of that faith in our lives. The joy and love we express towards Christ demonstrate the reality of our relationship with Him, affirming that we are indeed accepted by God.
