How do we know that God actively seeks to save the lost?

Answered in 1 source

God demonstrates His initiative in salvation through sending messengers and drawing individuals to Himself.

The sermon illustrates God's proactive role in salvation through the account of the Ethiopian eunuch. The Holy Spirit directed Philip to seek out this man in a barren place, demonstrating that God actively pursues those who are lost. As mentioned in Romans 10, the cycle of salvation includes God sending preachers to proclaim the gospel. This shows that God's heart is for His people and that He orchestrates events for their redemption. His drawing of individuals towards Christ is a clear indication of His sovereign grace at work.
