How do we know that God blesses a house where He dwells?

Answered in 1 source

God blesses a house where He dwells, as evidenced by the favor and grace upon Martha, Mary, and Lazarus' home.

God's blessings within a home are evident through the actions and affections of those who reside in it, particularly as shown in the home of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus. Their invitation for Jesus to dine signifies a heart willing to embrace His presence, thus allowing God's blessings to flow. The communion shared over dinner acts as a prophetic foreshadowing of the ultimate communion that believers will have with Christ in eternity. Just as the ark of God blessed the house of Obed-Edom in 1 Chronicles, so too does the presence of Christ bless homes today where the gospel is acknowledged and celebrated. In welcoming God into our homes, we create an atmosphere ripe for His blessings and grace to culminate.
