How do we know that God blesses us for His sake?

Answered in 1 source

We see throughout Scripture, such as in Joseph's life, that God's blessings come through His chosen individuals for the benefit of others (Genesis 39:5).

The account of Joseph illustrates how God blesses His people not only for their good but also for the good of those around them. When Joseph was in Potiphar's house, it is stated that God blessed the house because of Joseph (Genesis 39:5). This demonstrates a key theological principle: God often bestows blessings on individuals as conduits of His grace to others. This pattern reflects the covenantal promise that through His servants, God's favor extends outward, impacting wider communities and nations, fulfilling His divine purposes.
