How do we know that God brings peace to His people?

God grants peace to His people through the accomplished work of Christ.

According to Psalm 29:11, 'The Lord will bless his people with peace.' This peace is rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ, who satisfied divine judgment on behalf of His people. When we recognize our sinfulness and Christ's righteousness, we experience the profound peace that comes from knowing we are no longer at odds with God. True peace is only restored when the warfare against sin is accomplished, which Christ has fully achieved for His elect.
