How do we know that God can bring sudden change in people's lives?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture provides numerous examples of God's ability to enact sudden change, such as the revival during Hezekiah's reign.

The account of Hezekiah's reign in 2 Chronicles 29 shows that despite a period of great idolatry and defilement, God can regenerate and transform His people suddenly. God’s intervention can bring about immediate change, illustrated not only in Hezekiah’s story but also in the examples of Noah’s flood and Joseph’s sudden rise from imprisonment to the palace. These narratives remind us that God works in the hearts of His people and can change the course of history in an instant, promoting the necessity of being prepared to respond to His calling as believers.
