How do we know that God can deliver us from trials?

Answered in 1 source

God's deliverance is assured through His past faithfulness, as demonstrated in the story of Daniel and the lions' den.

In Daniel 6, we see a vivid illustration of God's ability to deliver His people from perilous situations. Daniel's faithfulness in prayer and worship despite the threat of death exemplifies his deep trust in God's power. When Daniel was cast into the lion's den, it was not just a matter of survival but a demonstration of God's sovereign protection. The angel sent to shut the mouths of the lions is a powerful testament to the fact that God is able to intervene in our darkest hours. Furthermore, God’s promise to be with us through trials assures us that we can face any difficulty with confidence, knowing He will deliver us as He sees fit.
