How do we know that God can meet our needs?

Answered in 1 source

God's past faithfulness, as shown in Scripture, assures us of His ability to meet our needs.

Throughout the Bible, we are given numerous accounts of God's faithfulness in meeting the needs of His people. In 2 Kings 4, the story of a widow who seeks the help of Elisha illustrates that when we turn to God in prayer and faith, we can expect Him to intervene. Elisha’s encouragement for the woman to gather many empty vessels was a call to exhibit faith in God’s ability to provide. The miracle that follows serves as a reminder that God delights in blessing those who trust in Him. This narrative reinforces the truth that while we may face overwhelming challenges, God is capable of providing miraculously, assuring us of His constant provision and love.
