How do we know that God cares about humans?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible reveals that God is mindful of us, despite our insignificance compared to creation.

In Psalm 8, the question is posed, 'What is man that you are mindful of him?' This rhetorical question highlights the contrast between God's infinite greatness and our utter insignificance. Yet, the psalm affirms that God does not overlook humanity; rather, He actively engages with us. This is evidenced by His incarnation in Christ, where He humbled Himself to visit us as our Redeemer. Thus, our value is not in our merit, but in God's mercy and love, which calls us to humble admiration of His grace.
