How do we know that God cares about our suffering?

Answered in 3 sources

God's Word assures us of His compassion through His promises and the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

God's care for our suffering is profoundly demonstrated in Scripture and through the life of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 4:15 tells us that Jesus, our High Priest, can empathize with our weaknesses, having faced temptation and suffering Himself. Moreover, God's promises provide comfort as He assures us in Isaiah that our days of mourning shall end (Isaiah 60:20). These are tangible reminders that God is not distant from our pain; He actively works to redeem our suffering for our good and His glory, ultimately bringing every suffering to an end in eternity.
