How do we know that God cares for us during our trials?

Answered in 1 source

God cares for us as He is involved in our lives, using trials to draw us closer to Him.

Our assurance of God's care during trials comes from His sovereignty and active involvement in our lives. As demonstrated in Isaiah 40, God is constantly aware of our struggles and faithfully oversees our circumstances. He admonishes His people to trust in Him rather than succumb to despair, reminding them that He does not grow faint or weary (Isaiah 40:28). This highlights the principle that our trials serve a purpose, often leading us to greater dependence on Christ. Furthermore, Romans 8:28 reassures that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, indicating that trials are not without meaning but are tools for shaping and refining our faith.
