How do we know that God cares for us during trials?

Answered in 2 sources

God assures us in His Word that our afflictions are according to His will and He cares for us deeply.

Throughout 1 Peter, the apostle Peter reassures believers that the trials they face are not random but are part of God's sovereign will for their lives. In 1 Peter 5:7, Peter encourages believers to cast all their anxieties on God because He cares for them. This care is evident in God's overarching plan for redemption through Christ, who suffered for our sake, and it shows that even in our hardships, God is working for our good and His glory.
