How do we know that God cares for us during trials?

The assurance of God's care for His people is expressed in numerous biblical texts, such as Isaiah 43:1-2, which states, 'When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.' The presence of God during life's turbulent times is a fundamental truth of sovereign grace theology. Believers are called to cast their cares upon Him, as He truly cares for us, allowing trials to humble us and draw us closer to Him. These trials serve to demonstrate our dependence on God's grace and to remind us that His promises remain true, even in the darkest hours.
