How do we know that God cares for us in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

We know God cares because He reveals Himself to us and accompanies us through our hardships.

In times of trial, it's common to question God's care, as demonstrated by the disciples in Mark 4:38 when they asked, 'Master, do you not care that we perish?' This inquiry reveals the human tendency to doubt during hardships. However, throughout scripture, particularly in passages such as Matthew 28:20, Jesus reassures His followers, 'I am with you always, to the end of the age.' This abiding presence signifies His deep care for those He has called and redeemed. It is through these relational assurances that believers can have confidence in God's love and concern, knowing that He sees our struggles and promises to be with us every step of the way.
