How do we know that God controls our salvation?

The Bible clearly outlines God's role in our salvation through multiple passages. In John 6:37, Jesus states, 'All that the Father gives me will come to me,' emphasizing the Father's sovereign choice in our redemption. Romans 8:30 highlights that those whom God predestined, He also called, justified, and glorified, showcasing a complete divine initiative from beginning to end. This means that our salvation is not a result of human effort but stems entirely from God's grace and purpose.

The assurance of our salvation rests on God's unchanging will and purposes. As the preacher notes, we can have confidence that our eternal destiny is secure in Christ and that His redemptive work on the cross fulfilled all that was required for our justification, allowing us to rest in His promises.
