How do we know that God delights in us?

Answered in 3 sources

We know God delights in us through the unmerited favor He shows us in Christ, as stated in Job 33:24 where He seeks to deliver us from our sin.

God’s delight in His people is evident through His unmerited favor, illustrated by His sending of Christ for our redemption. In Job 33:24, we see God's actions demonstrated: 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.' This assurance highlights God's commitment to His people, despite their sin and depravity. The delight of the Lord is continually manifested in the relationship He has with those who come to Him in faith, as we see in our worship and devotion. As we respond to His love through faith in Christ, we participate in the delight He experiences in His Son, further affirming that we, too, are His delight.
