How do we know that God delivers us in times of trouble?

In the account of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3, we see a powerful demonstration of God's deliverance. Even when faced with the fiery furnace, these faithful men knew that their God was with them and had the power to deliver. The sermon emphasizes not only their deliverance but also that they were not alone in their crisis; the presence of God was with them.
