How do we know that God gathers His people?

Answered in 1 source

God gathers His people through His Word and the ministry of the gospel, calling them to Himself.

In Isaiah 2:3, many nations are called to go up to the mountain of the Lord, indicating that God actively draws His people to Himself for teaching and guidance. Throughout the Scriptures, such as Romans 9 and Jeremiah 23, we see the promise of God gathering His remnant from the nations. This gathering happens through the ministry of pastors and through the expounding of God's Word. As Christ reigns from His heavenly throne, He sends forth His gospel to call His people out of darkness into His marvelous light, ensuring that no one is lost in this process.
