How do we know that God gives us peace?

The assurance of peace from God is rooted in His character and promises as revealed in Scripture. Isaiah 26:3 states, 'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee.' This illustrates that God's provision of peace is conditional upon trusting in Him.
