How do we know that God has begun a good work in us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God has begun a good work in us because He produces tangible evidence of spiritual life and transformation.

Paul assures the Philippians in Philippians 1:6 that 'He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.' We can recognize this good work by observing its characteristics— such as repentance, faith, love, and a genuine desire for righteousness. The work begins with the Holy Spirit, who creates a new man within us, leading to a profound transformation evidenced by our changed lives and attitudes. This transformation is not only an inner reality but also manifests itself outwardly in our relationships and actions as we strive to live according to the biblical teachings.
