How do we know that God is a God of justice?

Answered in 2 sources

God's justice is demonstrated through His actions and the fulfilling of His promises in Scripture.

The nature of God as just is confirmed throughout Scripture, particularly in His dealings with humanity as seen in the Old and New Testaments. In Genesis 18:25, Abraham boldly asked, 'Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?' affirming God's commitment to justice. Furthermore, the fulfillment of the law and the execution of judgment through Christ exemplify God's unwavering justice. Christ's sacrifice satisfied the demands of justice, proving that while God is merciful, He is also perfectly just, as stated in Romans 3:26.
