How do we know that God is a just God?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible states that God is a just God, and He does not compromise His holiness in the process of salvation.

Scripture reveals God as just in His character and actions. In Isaiah 45, it is stated that He is a just God who works through His righteousness and does not lower His standards to accommodate sinners. The justice of God is exemplified in His treatment of sin, where He did not spare His own Son but allowed Him to bear the punishment for our sins (Romans 8:32). This demonstrates that God’s justice and love are perfectly balanced; He upholds His law while providing a way for sinners to be justified through faith in Christ (Romans 5:1). Thus, God's justice ensures that every transgression is accounted for while simultaneously offering grace to those who believe.
