How do we know that God is absolutely sovereign?

Answered in 2 sources

God's sovereignty is demonstrated through His control over creation and the fulfillment of His decrees (Isaiah 46:10).

The sovereignty of God is a fundamental truth revealed throughout Scripture. God not only creates but also sustains and governs the universe according to His divine plan. In Isaiah 46:10, it is written, 'I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times, things not yet done.' This declaration emphasizes that He is in control of all things and that His purpose will prevail against any human or spiritual opposition. Moreover, historical accounts, such as God's control over kings and nations, further illustrate that His decrees are fulfilled with precision, supporting the understanding that God’s supreme authority is unmatched and unchanging.
