How do we know that God is faithful and true?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness is evident in His unchanging nature and the fulfillment of His promises throughout Scripture.

God's faithfulness is foundational to the Reformed understanding of salvation. As noted in Hebrews 10:23, we hold fast our profession of faith because 'he is faithful that promised.' This faithfulness is demonstrated through God's covenantal promises, His provision for His people, and the culmination of redemptive history in Christ. The consistency of God’s character throughout Scripture reassures us that He will not abandon those who belong to Him. Even as we falter, God remains true to His Word and His people.
