How do we know that God is faithful during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

We know God is faithful through His promises, as seen in Scripture, which reassures us of His presence and care in adversity.

God’s faithfulness can be confirmed through His Word and the promises found in Scripture. In Acts 27, even when all hope seemed lost, Paul reassured those on the ship of God’s promise that he would reach Rome. This illustrates that God’s plans for His people will not falter, regardless of the circumstances we face. The testimony of Scripture reinforces this: Hebrews 10:23 encourages believers to hold fast to their confession of hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. God’s past faithfulness becomes a foundation for trust amid trials, reminding us that His purposes prevail and that He oversees our lives with loving authority.
