How do we know that God is for His people?

Answered in 1 source

The assurance of God's favor towards His people is rooted in Scripture, particularly Romans 8.

We know that God is for His people because His Word states it clearly. Romans 8 affirms that if God is for us, who can be against us? This assurance comes from understanding that God chose us before the foundation of the world, predestining us to adopt as His children through Jesus Christ. Hence, understanding His countenance towards us is life-giving; it is an expression of His eternal favor and commitment to us as His chosen ones, solidifying our identity in Christ.
