How do we know that God is gracious even when we sin?

Answered in 1 source

God's graciousness is evident in His continual call for sinners to return to Him and His promise of rest.

God’s grace is a central theme in both the Old and New Testaments. Isaiah 30 highlights that even when the Israelites acted rebelliously, God still called them His children and invited them to return to Him (Isaiah 30:18). This reflects God's longing for reconciliation and His readiness to show mercy. Despite our failures and rebellious attitudes, God patiently waits to be gracious, demonstrating that His grace is not contingent on our performance but rooted in His everlasting love.
