How do we know that God is near us?

Answered in 2 sources

God is near to us in His Word, during public worship, and wherever there is a need for Him.

The sermon emphasizes multiple ways in which God is present with His people. Firstly, He is in His Word; Scripture is the means by which we truly know and encounter Him. Furthermore, God promises His presence in communal worship, stating that wherever two or three are gathered in His name, He is among them. Additionally, God is near to those who are seeking Him, as there is an assurance that He responds to the cries of the needy. In every situation of need, His compassionate presence brings hope and comfort, reminding believers that they are never alone.
