How do we know that God is not angry with His people?

Answered in 1 source

We know God is not angry with His people because He loved us while we were sinners and sent Christ to die for us.

The assurance of God's favor rests in the character and work of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 states that God demonstrated His love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. This act of sacrificial love signifies that God's wrath has been satisfied. Due to this divine provision, believers can rest assured that they are no longer under condemnation (Romans 8:1). Furthermore, the promise is made clear that all who are sealed in Christ are assured of their salvation and His ongoing favor. God keeps His promises to His elect, ensuring that His love for them is everlasting and not contingent upon their performance.
