How do we know that God is not defeated by man's unbelief?

Answered in 1 source

God's faithfulness is not undermined by human unbelief; rather, Scripture assures us that God remains true.

In Romans 3:3-4, Paul addresses the concern that if some do not believe, it could make God's faithfulness ineffective. The answer, however, is a resounding no. God's faithfulness is not contingent upon human belief; instead, it stands firm and true. When individuals reject Him, it does not thwart His divine purposes, for He operates according to His sovereign decree. As affirmed in Psalm 51:4, God is always justified in His sayings and prevails in His judgments, emphasizing that God's plan never fails, regardless of human response.
