How do we know that God is not mocked?

Answered in 5 sources

We know God is not mocked because what people sow in their lives, whether to the flesh or the Spirit, will ultimately yield corresponding results in their eternal destinies.

Paul's assertion in Galatians 6:7, 'Be not deceived, God is not mocked,' serves as a solemn reminder of divine justice. It means that while many may try to live independently of God or challenge His authority, their ultimate fate will reveal the truth of their choices. The world may scoff at God's Word today, but the eternal repercussions await those who live for themselves. Every action that contradicts God's will leads towards corruption, while true submission to the Spirit brings about life everlasting. God knows the heart, and His judgments are inescapable, which provides the foundation for understanding that He will not be trifled with.
