How do we know that God is our Savior?

Answered in 3 sources

We know God is our Savior because He has revealed Himself as a just God who provides salvation through Jesus Christ.

God's nature as a Savior can be seen through His justice and mercy, as described in Isaiah 45:21. He is a just God who demands justice for sin but simultaneously offers salvation to sinners. This dual aspect of God's character culminates in Jesus Christ, who took on the punishment for our sins, thereby satisfying God’s justice while also extending mercy. Scripture consistently affirms this truth, illustrating God's commitment to saving His people and demonstrating His love through Christ's sacrificial death.
