How do we know that God is powerful?

Answered in 2 sources

God's power is evident in creation, where He effortlessly created the universe and everything within it.

The omnipotence of God is vividly illustrated in Psalm 104, where the psalmist describes how God stretches out the heavens like a curtain. This effortless act signifies God's supreme power over the universe. The creation of all things—from the vast heavens to the minutiae of life on earth—speaks to God's authority. Romans 1:20 elaborates on this, saying that God's invisible attributes are clearly seen through creation. This is a reminder that God's power is not only seen in grand gestures but also in the minutiae of daily provision and life itself. Therefore, we can trust in His power to handle our concerns, as nothing is too hard for God.
