How do we know that God is powerful?

Answered in 1 source

God's power is evident in the creation, providence, and redemptive acts as shown throughout the Bible.

The power of God is a central theme in Scripture, demonstrated through various acts of creation and salvation. From the miraculous works seen in the Old Testament—such as the splitting of the Red Sea—to the resurrection of Christ in the New Testament, God's omnipotence is unmistakably displayed. Moreover, the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20) reflects His continued agency in our lives, reminding us that even when situations appear hopeless, God remains capable of accomplishing His purposes. Through our history and personal testimonies, we perceive His unmatched might and ability.
