How do we know that God is real?

Answered in 1 source

We know God is real through His creation, the evidence of Scripture, and the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The reality of God is made known through various avenues, primarily His creation and revelation in Scripture. In Genesis, the act of creation is affirmed repeatedly, demonstrating God's power and authority. However, for believers, the Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in bringing this truth home, as mentioned in Ephesians 5:8, where we find that we were once in darkness but are now light in the Lord. This spiritual awakening—enabling us to believe and understand God—is a clear indication that God is indeed real. Additionally, these experiences and confirmations reinforce our faith and remind us that while we cannot see God physically, His presence is undeniably felt in our lives and in the world around us.
