How do we know that God is with us during tough times?

Answered in 1 source

God promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He is always aware of our struggles.

The account in Mark 6:48 illustrates how Jesus saw His disciples toiling in the midst of the sea, despite being on a mountain far away. This demonstrates His omnipresence and care for His followers. The disciples may have felt abandoned, but Jesus was aware of their struggle and came to them at the right moment. Believers can take comfort in Hebrews 13:5, where God assures us, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' This truth provides peace, knowing that even in our most challenging moments, God is present, actively engaged in our lives.
