How do we know that God is working in us?

The assurance of God's work in us is manifest through the changes in our desires and actions. Philippians 2:13 states, 'For it is God which worketh in you, both to will and to do of his good pleasure.' This suggests that our will to engage in good works comes from God's initiative in our hearts. Furthermore, as believers, we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide our actions, helping us to fulfill God's commandments with a heart aligned to His will. When we live out our faith in compliance with these internal changes, it becomes evident that divine influence is at play in our lives.
