How do we know that God knows our struggles as believers?

Answered in 1 source

God reassures us through scripture that He knows the works, tribulations, and poverty faced by His people.

In Revelation 2:9, Christ addresses the church in Smyrna with the solemn assurance, 'I know your works, tribulation, and poverty.' This indicates that God is fully aware of the struggles His people face, especially when they stand firm in their faith against the pressures of the world. The recognition of both spiritual and physical struggles reassures believers of God's intimate knowledge of their lives and circumstances. He understands our trials and encourages us to endure knowing that each challenge we face has a purpose in His redemptive plan.
