How do we know that God listens to our prayers in times of trouble?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that God hears the prayers of His people, especially in their times of trouble.

Psalm 79 illustrates the importance of approaching God in prayer during desperate situations. The psalmist's cry for God to remember His people and act on their behalf indicates a confident belief in God's listening ear. Verses 10-11 highlight a fervent request for God's intervention to make His glory known among the nations and to preserve those who are in peril. Such expressions of faith teach us that God is not indifferent to our sufferings and that He actively responds to the cries of His people. Through faith in His promises, we can be assured that our prayers are indeed heard and taken seriously by God.
