How do we know that God loves His chosen people?

Answered in 3 sources

God's love for His chosen people is demonstrated through His actions and promises throughout Scripture.

The assurance of God's love for His chosen people is found deeply woven through the narrative of Scripture. Romans 5:8 tells us, 'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' This sacrificial act exemplifies self-giving love. Furthermore, in Ephesians 1:4-5, we learn that believers were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world, indicating that God's love is not a reaction to our actions but a sovereign choice rooted in His grace. The depth and richness of His love can be appreciated when we recognize that it is not contingent upon our performance but based on His eternal purpose.
