How do we know that God makes a difference in our lives?

The transformative work of God in the lives of believers is evident throughout Scripture. In 1 Corinthians 6:11, Paul reminds the Corinthians of their transformation: 'But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.' Here, God is presented as the active agent who initiates change, moving us from a state of sinfulness to one of righteousness. The biblical narrative is replete with examples of this divine difference, including the contrast between Noah and the rest of humanity during the flood, showcasing that those chosen by God are delivered from judgment.
