How do we know that God preserves His Word?

Answered in 1 source

We know God preserves His Word through His sovereignty and faithfulness, which assures us that His promises will never fail.

God’s ability to preserve His Word stems from His sovereignty. The Scriptures assert that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for various spiritual necessities (2 Timothy 3:16). If God is indeed sovereign and in control of all things, then it follows that He is capable of safeguarding His message throughout history. Furthermore, the consistency and reliability of the Scriptures over time bear witness to this preservation. The assurance that God preserves His Word encourages believers to trust in its truth and authority, as it remains unchanged and serves as a guide for faith and practice.
