How do we know that God protects us in the challenges of life?

Answered in 1 source

We know God protects us through His promises in Scripture that He is our refuge and will deliver us from evil.

Psalm 91 illustrates God's protective nature, describing Him as our refuge and fortress. The psalm assures us that 'He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust' (Psalm 91:4). This metaphor highlights God's comforting and protective presence over His people. Furthermore, Scripture reveals that no evil will befall those who make the Lord their dwelling place (Psalm 91:10). This divine protection is reassured through both physical and spiritual challenges, where God promises to be with us in times of trouble (Psalm 91:15). Additionally, Satan himself acknowledges that a protective hedge surrounds God's faithful ones (Job 1:10), underscoring the reality of God's guardianship.
