How do we know that God provides for our good?

Answered in 1 source

God provides what is good for His people according to His sight, not ours.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 states that God gives to a man who is good in His sight wisdom, knowledge, and joy. This demonstrates that God’s provision is rooted in His perfect wisdom and understanding of what is truly good for us. Unlike our limited perspective, God's view is comprehensive, with the ability to see both the beginning and the end of our lives. Therefore, believers can trust that God’s gifts, whether they seem positive or negative, ultimately serve our best interest according to His divine plan.
