How do we know that God remembers His covenant with His people?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that God remembers His covenant, as He continuously acts in mercy and faithfulness towards His people.

Throughout the Scriptures, God explicitly reaffirms His covenant promises to His people. In Luke 1:72-73, Zechariah declares that God has come to perform the mercy promised to our fathers, recalling the covenant with Abraham. This assurance is echoed in many Old Testament narratives, such as God's deliverance of Israel from Egypt, motivated by the remembrance of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God's steadfast commitment to His covenant infers that He will unfailingly care for and protect those He has chosen, as seen in Ruth's experience, demonstrating that she was brought into God’s gracious plan due to His covenant faithfulness.
