How do we know that God reveals His will to us?

Answered in 1 source

God reveals His will through Scripture, which guides us in obedience and understanding (Deuteronomy 29:29).

The foundation for knowing God's revealed will is firmly laid in Scripture. Deuteronomy 29:29 draws a clear distinction between the secret things of God and those things made known to us; the latter are for our benefit and that of future generations. Through His Word, God guides His people to live in accordance with His commandments, which are meant to promote their spiritual prosperity. Moreover, 1 Corinthians 2:6-10 reveals that the Spirit of God searches the depths of God's wisdom and makes known to believers the things that have been freely given to them. Thus, God's revelation is not limited to the written Word but encompasses the inner working of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of believers, making the ultimate truths about salvation and grace understandable.
