How do we know that God revives people?

Answered in 1 source

God revives people through His grace, leading them to confess their sins and look to Christ for redemption.

The reality of God’s revival is manifest when individuals recognize their need for repentance and turn back to Him in faith. As seen in the narrative of Numbers 21, when the Israelites were bitten by serpents, they acknowledged their sin and sought Moses to intercede for them. God's response reflected His mercy, providing a means of salvation through the lifted serpent—a foreshadowing of Christ. Therefore, God's revival in the hearts of His people is evidenced by their affliction leading to sincerity in confession and a renewed focus on Christ as the ultimate solution for their sin and spiritual deadness.
