How do we know that God's blessings cannot be reversed?

Answered in 1 source

God's immutable nature guarantees that His blessings are irreversible, as stated in Numbers 23:19.

The certainty of God's blessings stems from His unchanging nature. Scripture, particularly in Numbers 23:19, affirms, 'God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent.' This illustrates that unlike humans, who can change their minds, God remains steadfast in His commitments. He does not make mistakes, nor does He change His mind about His people. The assurance that 'you cannot be charged with a crime you did not commit' (Numbers 23:21) underscores the security that believers have in Christ—their sins have been fully dealt with, thus they cannot fall under a curse. Therefore, the blessings of God towards His elect are permanent and reliable.
