How do we know that God's choice determines our faith?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty over our choices assures us that He ultimately determines our faith, as we act within His predetermined plan.

The sovereignty of God in the matter of faith is affirmed by the understanding that while human choices appear to shape one’s spiritual life, these choices are themselves part of God's eternal decree. The sermon explains that God ordained all things before the foundation of the world, including the choices that individuals will make in time. This means that, while we experience real decision-making in our lives, those decisions reflect the choices already determined by God's will. Hence, the compatibility of divine sovereignty and human responsibility is not contradictory; rather, they work together to fulfill God’s redemptive plan, with faith as a gift that allows individuals to respond to Christ at the crisis moment.
