How do we know that God's commandments are beneficial?

Answered in 2 sources

God's commandments are beneficial because they lead us away from harm and towards a fulfilling life.

The commandments of God are given not to bind us but to guide us into a life of joy and freedom. The Bible teaches that obedience to His statutes prevents us from experiences that lead to pain and hardship, known as the way of the transgressor. By living according to God's revealed will, believers experience the ‘good life’ marked by peace and fulfillment, reinforcing the idea that His commandments are designed for our benefit rather than our burden.
