How do we know that God's counsel is true?

Answered in 1 source

We know God's counsel is true because it aligns with His character and has been revealed in Scripture as infallible and absolute.

God's counsel is true because it is based on His immutable nature, revealed in His Word. The Scripture presents God as the ultimate source of wisdom and truth, asserting that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Wisdom being justified means that those who are God's children recognize His counsel as inherently good and true, accepting it even when it challenges their own understanding. The acceptance of God's counsel as true is demonstrated by the faith of believers who, having been drawn by God's grace, respond to His Word in obedience, finding life in it (John 6:63).
